The story behind the story

The idea for this story came from the Honeyborne family after their daughter, Olivia,  was treated at  Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.  It tells the tale of their miniature dachshund,  Fudge,  and the animals she encounters on and around the family farm. A sculpture trail to accompany the story has been designed by our talented illustrator and wood carver,  Simon O’Rouke. All proceeds from the book will go to  Alder Hey Children’s Charity,  in appreciation of the wonderful care Olivia received there.
